Jeff Schuler
Jeff is a technologist who has been building web software since 1996. He demonstrates mastery of web standards, software development expertise, and project management experience gained through working for a wide array of sectors and clients.
He formed Substrate in 2008 to employ Open Source tech in support of projects positively affecting his local community and environment, and has continued to grow the business toward those ends, locally and beyond.
Jeff's primary platform is Drupal, an open source content management framework. He maintains modules for the Drupal community deployed on nearly 1,000 websites around the globe, and has contributed code to Drupal's core, modules and themes.
Jeff formed and leads the Cleveland Drupal User Group and a Civic Hacking meetup that brings technologists together to build civic solutions, and manages a local food distribution hub to make locally-grown produce accessible and affordable to all.
